8-15 MW GEOTHERMAL TURBINE

From concept to reality, in just 24 months, the RGI team was able to design, prototype and test a new- concept turbine for geothermal applications achieving world-class performance.

FAN CONTAINMENT

RGI has completed an aero engine fan case containment redesign for a customer within a 10 month period. The project included composite containment and repackaged engine externals.

CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSORS

RGI capabilities include centrifugal compressor aerodynamic and mechanical designs, including 1D, 2D, and 3D CFD simulations and structural, thermal, and modal analyses.  Compressor-turbine matching and stability performance prediction are some of our key strengths. RGI has been able to drive our compressor projects to the prototyping stage in 6-8 months.

HIGH PRESSURE TURBINE (HPT) DESIGN

Using the latest materials, coatings, design techniques and airfoil technology, RGI has designed hot section components for customers within an 8 - 10 month time frame.

LOW PRESSURE TURBINE (LPT) DESIGN

RGI has completed a 6 stage LPT aero engine design project for a customer in 10 months. The work package included aerodynamic design and analysis along with mechanical design and structural analysis.

RGI has finalized a multi-stage axial compressor design complete with prototyping for a customer in 10 months.
